Does Brown accept international students?

Yes, individuals who are neither U.S. citizens nor U.S. permanent residents are eligible to apply for admission through most of the entry routes. All premedical course work must be completed in the United States or Canada in order to qualify for consideration.

How many non-citizens were offered admission?

Currently, 2% if the class is comprised of international students.

Financial Aid

Financial support to international students is extremely limited. International applicants are required to provide information regarding their personal and family financial resources during the application process. This information is considered prior to admissions notification. Please review the Alpert Medical School financial aid website for additional information.

NB: Brown does offer some scholarships and loans to international students.
